About Designs Unlimited

Designs Unlimited Interior Plantscapes was founded by Deborah Reed in 2004, establishing a strong foundation of dedicated service and long-standing client relationships. I took ownership of the company in 2018 and am proud to carry that foundation forward while bringing my own background in commercial interior design, horticulture, and floral design to the business.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and spent eight years focused primarily on commercial design. My work included corporate and commercial offices, college campuses and residence halls, hospitality-style dining environments, commercial lobbies, and hospital coffee kiosks — spaces where flow, proportion, and atmosphere matter.

In addition, I bring nearly a decade of experience in both the interior plant industry and floral design.

My background in commercial spatial planning and composition, paired with hands-on horticultural expertise, shapes a design-led approach to plant integration. I consider how greenery interacts with architecture, light, materials, scale, and movement through a space — not simply where a plant can be placed.

For me, this work is about more than maintaining plants. It is about creating environments where plants feel intentional, integrated, and truly part of the space.
